This sprawling, multilevel chalet hotel makes a pretty picture along the lakeshore opposite Gmunden's city center. Rooms are spacious with contemporary blond-wood furniture, and many have balconies with stunning views. The popular restaurant serves good local cuisine, emphasizing fish fresh from the lake. The hotel offers superb sports opportunities, from hiking to cycling to swimming. Half-pension plans are offered for a stay of three days or more.
