In the heart of the pedestrian area of the Altstadt, the centuries-old "White Dove" is around the corner from Mozartplatz, the Salzburg Museum, and the Residenz. Comfortably renovated into a hotel—now family-run for four generations—this 14th-century burgher's house has been traditionally restored, but some time-burnished touches remain: uneven floors, ancient stone archways, and wood-beam ceilings. Guest rooms are simply furnished, with dark-wood accents. Several
no-smoking rooms are available, and the main section of the breakfast room is also no-smoking.
