Fodor's Review

Vorarlberg now has its own modern art museum. Designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumtho, the steel-and-concrete building with etched-glass panels creates a feeling of space and light. Note the innovative feature of 8-foot openings between each storey, which allows sunlight to enter the translucent glass through the ceiling. This marvel of design bathes each gallery in natural light in spite of concrete walls.
