Among the city's oldest houses stands this pink hotel, built in 1473, a warm and welcoming family-run Best Western facing the River Inn a few minutes from the center of the old town. River-facing rooms are few and should be reserved in advance; the ones at the rear can be a little gloomy and some are on the small side, although bathrooms are often disproportionately spacious. All are nicely furnished, some with sparkling "starry night sky" ceilings, and bathrooms are attractively finished in blue marble and Swarovski crystal decorations. The location is good, and the hotel has its own parking garage. Pros very friendly staff; free on-site parking; riverfront location.
