St. Christoph

St. Christoph

A hospice to care for imperiled travelers stranded by the snows on the pass was founded in what is now St. Christoph as early as the 15th century. Today the snow is what attracts visitors to the area. Although St. Christoph hasn't the same social cachet as St. Anton, the skiing facilities are precisely the same (and even closer at hand). If you take your skiing seriously and are willing to forgo the high life as too distracting or too expensive, you may find winter sports per se more fun at St. Christoph.
