In the authentically rustic dining rooms, an array of antlers adds to the charm. This is the right place for solid local standards, like Tiroler Gröstl, a tasty hash, and Wiener Schnitzel (veal cutlet), both of which taste even better on the outside terrace in summer. Ask about the specials that don't appear on the menu, such as wild game or freshly picked mushrooms. Because the place hosts regular local gatherings it can get quite lively here, but all you have to do is request a table in one of the smaller parlors.

One of the finest and most memorable eating experiences we had in Bavaria. Superb service and food.
Try the Austrian dumplings with the veal cutlets. They were so good my lovely wife tried to make the dish when we got home. As a graduate of the Culinary Institute, she didn't do a bad job at all, but still its something about this restaurant that compliments the food with an authentic "flavor"!
Just great!
