This red-shuttered house within walking distance of the city center has been turned into a friendly, family-run hotel. Spacious rooms gleam with natural woods and old-fashioned style. Some upper rooms on the west side have bay windows with gorgeous views of the mountains. From the main station, Bus A to Höttinger Kirchenplatz gets you close to the door. This hotel is a good value if you're on a budget. Pros: very quiet location; inexpensive rates; free parking. Cons: basic breakfast; dated furniture.

This was one of the few triple rooms in our Apline holiday that actually had three beds - not 2 beds and a foldout chair/couch. And the staff was really really helpful and friendly! The location was fine if you don't mind walking a bit; it's not very centrally located but it was a good deal.
