parish church

parish church Review

The 15th- and 16th-century houses built during those prosperous times still stand, and the marketplace has kept its atmosphere. Look at the vast parish church, the largest Gothic hall-church in Tirol. The church was expanded in 1490 and divided into two parts (once they were separated by a wooden wall): the southern chancel for the miners and the northern, or "Prince's Chancel," for the upper classes.
