¢, Austrian, Hall in Tirol
Fodor's Review:
This ancient little restaurant just inside the Altstadt wall is madly popular with locals for its colossal schnitzels (so big you can't see the plates on which they're served) at tiny prices. The traditional Austrian offerings are all freshly prepared, and if you're searching for the fries, they're usually hiding under the schnitzel. The owners thoughtfully leave a roll of aluminum foil on the table, since so many patrons are forced to take home leftovers.
