The Penz

Fodor's Review:

Innsbruck's newest luxury hotel sits within the Old City. Because of this, its ultramodern steel-and-glass architecture, designed by the renowned French architect Dominique Perrault, comes as a pleasant surprise. The guest rooms are small but elegant, although some find the decor a bit sterile. The rooftop American Bar makes a fine gathering spot, complete with panoramic views of the Alps. This is a business hotel, and traveling executives will feel right at home. Vacationing families might feel a bit out of place. Pros: sleek design; great breakfast; popular rooftop bar. Cons: small rooms; no spa or sauna.
