Around Innsbruck you'll find everything from the beginner slopes of the Glungezer to the good intermediate skiing of the Axamer Lizum and Patscherkofel to the steep runs and off-piste skiing of Seegrube. Your Club Innsbruck membership card (free with an overnight stay in any Innsbruck hotel) will get you free transportation to the areas and reduced prices on a number of ski lifts. A Super Ski Pass covers all the ski areas of Innsbruck, the Stubai Glacier, Kitzbühel, and St. Anton, with 520 km (290 mi) of runs, 210 lifts, and all transfers. The Gletscher Ski Pass includes Innsbruck and the Stubai Glacier. If you're a summer skier (and can handle the altitude), there's year-round skiing on the Stubai Glacier, about 40 km (25 mi) from Innsbruck via the free ski shuttle bus (ask at your hotel).
