Puchberg am Schneeberg
People flock to the quiet mountain resort of Puchberg am Schneeberg mostly to ride to the top of the Schneeberg mountain, Lower Austria's highest peak. From Vienna, the railroads have a package ticket that includes the regular rail connection, the cog railway, and a chit for lunch at one of the mountaintop restaurants. Trains also serve Puchberg from Wiener Neustadt. During a hot spell, the cooler mountain air is a relief.
