Schloss Velden Review
After a major renovation, the region's brightest star has started to shine again. The neo-Renaissance castle on the main promenade features lavishly appointed rooms in the historic building and more minimalist digs in the new wing. They leave nothing to be desired: regal beds, flat-screen TVs, splendid views of the rose garden and the lake, and the obligatory house-made praline candies before bedtime. With its private cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs, the hotel's private beach is a dream come true.
