This popular spot near the Faaker See has a lot of fans, including chef Wolfgang Puck whenever he's in the area. You won't find a lake view here—people venture here for the food, served in a large sunny hall looking out over the rolling hills or in an intimate room with mullioned windows and stag antlers on the walls. The crispy duck comes with homemade dumplings, baked apple, and steamed vegetables, and the juicy pork from the owner's farm is served with a mound of buttery green beans and golden fried Rösti.
