Considered one of the best restaurants in Carinthia, this place is a favorite with foodies. Chef Silvio Nickol creates culinary delights with impossibly long names, but amazing flavor combinations. At tables on the balcony of Schloss Hotel Velden and inside classically styled dining rooms, you'll savor such dishes as scallops and crawfish with coriander risotto or Canadian lobster. There's an à la carte menu, but seriously consider the five- or seven-course prix-fixe lunch or dinner options. The cart with handmade chocolate truffles adds the last touch of perfection.
