Mafolie Hotel Review
The view and the value are the selling points of this hotel perched 800 feet above Charlotte Amalie's harbor. The rooms at this family-run place are simply furnished, and a few of those at pool level don't have much of a breeze, making air-conditioning a must. Rooms above the restaurant are tiny and lack privacy in the evening, because of the steady stream of diners. Rooms 8 and 9 have a connecting door, making them great for families. The restaurant is known for its well-prepared Continental cuisine, featuring fresh seafood, steaks, and chicken. A daily shuttle takes guests to Magens Bay Beach and Charlotte Amalie (although you have to find your own way back from town).
