Randy's Bar and Bistro Review

There's no view here—even though you're at the top of a hill—but the somewhat hidden location has helped to keep this one of the island's best dining secrets. This wine shop and deli caters to a local lunch crowd. At night, you forget you're tucked into a nearly windowless building. The tableside bread for starters is a thick, crusty focaccia flavored with nearly 10 different vegetables. Try the drunken shrimp sauteed in tequila or the veal parmigiana. After-dinner cigars and wine complete the experience.

    Very good for lunch

and dinner but I really enjoy lunch here. It's not a tourist trap & they have a wide variety of very good food.

Locals really seem to like it

Not an elegant location by any means, but the food and service were really pretty good. Another plus, is that it was less expensive than most other places we went to on the island.

    A wonderful surprise!

We have had a few disappointments eating in St Thomas ... overpriced, touristy .. but Randy's was just a delight in every way. From the opening bread to the closing homemade brownie dessert this was a treat. The wine selection was fun .. you walk through the deli section and bring the bottle you want back to your table .. many selections in the 20-40 range. The entrees were mostly in the teens, except for the steaks which were mid-20's. Our food was wonderful, great flavors accompanied by perfectly sauteed vegetables. This place is a credit to the Island.
