The dining rooms in this huge old stucco house are lined with whimsical works of art painted by doubly talented owner–chef Tony Romano, who also creates superb northern Italian cuisine. Try the pastas, either with a classic ragout or with one of Tony's more unique creations, such as a cream sauce with mushrooms, prosciutto, pine nuts, and Parmesan. There's classic osso buco and veal scaloppini, too. If you like the food here, keep in mind that Romano also offers his personal chef services at villas and condos.

From the moment we walked into Romanos in July the Atmosphere was set. We sat at the quaint bar with perfect old world flavor. The drinks and the way in which they were prepared was a throwback to true bar-tending. I would go out on a limb and say that the service from start to finish was by far the best we've ever experienced. The food was also second to none. We actually wish we would have found this place earlier as most of our dining experiences
left something to be desired. Food was exceptional! Oh and did we mention the owner and chef Anthony is a world renowned artist whose glorious work is on display to view or purchase. All in all we love the islands and when we go back Romanos is a must for us.

The food was delicious and I loved the cozy and elegant atmosphere. We had a drink at the small, classy bar before dinner and really enjoyed visiting with the bartender. This was a highlight of our trip and we will definitely return!

we just returned from St. Thomas and ALWAYS enjoy Romanos - the review this restaurant received in March was ridiculous - we eat all over the world - we ate at Virgilios, Herve and a number of other great restaurants in St. Thomas but nothing compared to Romano's - I am Italian and the service and meal were impeccable - lets face it, the food in St. Thomas does not closely compare to Italy or even New York City but for the Virgin Islands, it was great
- we did not think the food at Virgilios was that great although the service was outstanding - this will be the 4th time we've eaten at Romanos and we'll definitely return

Dogs Playing Poker and a velvet Elvis would have fit right in with the artworks on the walls. Food was average; Virgilio's is far superior
