We like this resort's stellar beachfront setting and peaceful ambience. The rooms are lovely, with attractive palm-theme accessories that match the resort's atmosphere. All have terra-cotta floors, ceramic lamps, mahogany ceilings and furnishings, and rocking chairs. Each has a patio and a huge bathroom (shower only). Lushly planted walkways connect the rooms and the hotel's restaurants and pool.

I would never stay here again. And, that's sad since we were really looking forward to this resort. First, and foremost, our room and safe were broken into by someone who had keys and access codes. Second, most of the room furnishings were damaged including picture frames and towel racks. Third, while they advertise the three on-site restaurants, none of them were open at the same time so you had very little choice. Fourth, there was
usually no staff at the pool, so you had to go up to the front desk just to get a towel. They track every towel that goes out, so you also have to return the towels to the front desk -- a strange practice for a $500+ per night resort. Fifth, many of the buildings were under going a noisy renovation process -- honestly, I'm not sure this place should have been open for business. Sixth, the rooms were very dark and quite small. There were also alot of ants. Seventh, room service and restaurants always took painfully long. Our room service never arrived on one occasion. Eighth, the wifi is free for a reason -- it never worked. Ninth, the drinks were incredibly small considering they were almost $10 each. Tenth, we tried working with the hotel management to get any resolution to these issues and were dismissed. After all this, if you still decide to go, skip the Friday night buffet. Pricey and the show is a joke.
