Carringtons Inn Review

Local flavor, personalized service, and individual style make this intimate inn a welcome respite from the realm of cookie-cutter resorts, with its location in a former private home that offers a lovely pool and unbeatable ocean views. But ask repeat visitors why they keep coming back, and they'll point to owner Roger Carrington as the real reason to stay here: he serves delicious breakfasts—rum-soaked French toast is a house specialty—doles out advice, and makes you feel right at home. Each room is different, with a decorating theme that reflects a namesake flower, but amenities like four-poster beds, handwoven carpets, and colorful spreads are standard; there are balconies in some rooms, and either sea or pool views. The suburban, hillside location is a 10-minute drive from Christiansted, which means you need a rental car to explore or eat off property.

    Our Home in St Croix!

Claudia and Roger were wonderful hosts for their home and their island of St Croix. We stayed in the perwinkle room (which was spotlessly cleaned) and loved the view. The breakfast was a great start to our day.
