St. Croix Sights

Steeple Building Review

The first Danish Lutheran church on the island when it was built in 1753, the Steeple Building is now used as a museum. It's worth the short walk to see the archaeological artifacts and exhibits on plantation life, the architectural development of Christiansted, the island's Indian inhabitants, and Alexander Hamilton, who grew up in St. Croix. Hours are irregular, so ask at the visitor center. Your paid admission includes Ft. Christiansvaern too.
