Hassel Island

Fodor's Review:

East of Water Island in Charlotte Amalie harbor, Hassel Island is part of the Virgin Islands National Park, as it has the ruins of a British military garrison (built during a brief British occupation of the USVI during the 1800s) and the remains of a marine railway (where ships were hoisted into dry dock for repairs). You can opt for a three-hour guided tour, which departs from the dock at Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Resort. For $49 per person you can see the ruins as well as the island's flora and fauna.
