Fodor's Review:
This small condominium complex with studio, two-, and three-bedroom apartments is a 10-minute walk from Cruz Bay, but is insulated from the town's noise in a sleepy suburban neighborhood. You can swim and snorkel at the small beach or relax poolside and catch some rays. Rooms have a fresh feel; each is a little bit different in decor, with whites, blues, and greens predominating in the color scheme. Colorful artwork by the owner's mother, St. John artist Elaine Estern, graces the walls.

superb views, nice rooms and good location, match that with low prices on St John and anything can be forgiven, particularly with state of the art air conditioning and cable TV, management not around, but as with any condo, go on a walkthrough with them before you checkin.RATING: 3.4
Smart Value on St John

When we decided to visit St John during my son's spring break, it was a challenge to find available and affordable lodging on two month's notice. Coconut Coast fit the bill on both counts. Our studio was clean and well equipped, with a sleeping loft and kitchen. We enjoyed the private oceanfront balcony and short walk into town, although driving is advised at night, as the salt pond trail is unlit. Rent a car so you can visit all the superb beaches on this island, the most beautiful I've seen in the Caribbean.RATING: 4.2
