Café Amalia

$$$-$$$$, Spanish, St. Thomas

User Rating: *** 3.4

Fodor's Review:

Tucked into the alleyway of Palm Passage, this open-air café owned by Antiguan-born Randolph Maynard and his German wife, Helga, serves authentic Spanish cuisine. Try tapas such as mussels in brandy sauce, escargots with mushrooms and herb butter, or Galician-style octopus and baby eels served in a sizzling garlic sauce. Paella is a house specialty, as is the caramel flan.

I great place to take a break and get a bite. The pizzas are great with nice thin crusts.
