Pat's Place

Fodor's Review:

Born and bred on the island, Pat Simmons can give you a lesson in the medicinal qualities of her garden plants and periwinkle flowers as well as excellent native cuisine for a very reasonable price in her typical Salt Cay home. Home cooking doesn't get any closer to home than this. Try conch fritters for lunch and her steamed grouper with okra rice for dinner. Be sure to call ahead, as she cooks only when there's someone to cook for.
