Fodor's Review:

Formerly the Pillory Beach Resort, this small hotel sits on an otherwise deserted stretch of beach. It's a dream come true for British couple Kelly Shanahan and Nick Gillings, who have created their own retreat on Grand Turk after years of visiting the tiny island. The resort's restaurant is the best on the island. You can relax with yoga sessions or party with the locals at the Sunday sail and kayak races or Thursday-night's "pit party" with roasted meats and music. Pros: has the best restaurant in Grand Turk; on a gorgeous beach; steps away from awesome snorkeling. Cons: rooms are basic and dated; three-night minimum.

If you are the type of person like myself who appreciates places off the beaten path but still with some nice amenities, then Grand Turk and Bohio are for you. Mike and his staff went out of their way to make my trip a memorable one. Great diving close to shore, small hotel but still with wireless Internet in the lobby area and nice food, nice beach. Grand Turk itself is charming and removed from the built up tourist experience of Provo. This would also be a fun place for a dive group to stay.
