Fodor's Expert Review Kalooki’s

Though the original beachside venue was destroyed by a hurricane in 2017, Kalooki's has relocated to the Vele Plaza on the main strip in Grace Bay. While they may no longer have their old, gritty beachside vibe, they do still offer great island food. Their brunch menu has standard American fare, but, hey, you're in the islands, so give their specialties a try: Turks and Caicos–style fish and grits and the Jamaican ackee and saltfish. For dinner, there's jerk chicken or braised oxtail. If you're not that adventurous, they offer less exotic items, and the kids menu is bound to please even the pickiest little one in your group.
