Order deli sandwiches, salads, enticingly rich desserts, and freshly baked pastries at this island institution on Leeward Highway, just south of Turtle Cove. From the deli case you can buy the fixings for a picnic; the shelves are stocked with an eclectic selection of fancy foodstuffs, as well as beer and wine. It's open at 6:30 AM for a busy trade in coffees, cappuccinos, and frappaccinos. This is the best cheesesteak you'll ever have outside Philly, but the location isn't where most tourists stay—it's worth the drive, though.

very expensive for a subshop, but good breakfast sandwiches and great shepherds pie or lasagna 2 person meals for takeaway.
