Malcolm's Beach Review

It's one of the most stunning beaches you'll ever see, but you'll need a high-clearance vehicle to reach it. Bring your own food and drinks, because it doesn't have any facilities or food service unless you have made a reservation to eat at the very expensive Amanyara resort. There have been reports of break-ins at the parking lot in years past, so it's best to not keep any valuables in your car. Amenities: parking. Best for: solitude; swimming; walking.

    Malcolm's Beach Review

If you follow the maps given at the car rental agency, Malcom's beach is relatively easy to find. We rented the equivalent of a Hyundia Tucson in the USA and it had plenty of clearance to get down the road to the beach. We found a good firm sole to your water shoe was an asset if you are climbing on the rocks as some are very sharp. The view was so amazing. A camera with LOTS of memory is a good idea. The view from this beach is like a photo out of a National Geographic magazine. We were there in May of 2010 and we were alone on the beach for most of the morning, passing only one couple on their way out to snorkel.A very quiet beach with many birds crabs and unique shells.
