Fodor's Review

Aromas redolent of the Mediterranean waft from the open kitchen as you enter this intimate eatery east of Turtle Cove. Outdoor seating is on a romantic canal-front patio, one of the lovelier settings on Provo. The menu offers a small but varied selection of Italian dishes. Veal is prominent on the menu, but main courses also include pasta, chicken, fish, and brick-oven pizzas. You'll never see redder tomatoes than those in the tomato-and-mozzarella Caprese salad; a standout

entrée is the chicken with vodka-cream sauce. House wines are personally selected by the owners and complement the well-edited wine list. Try tiramisu for dessert with a flavored coffee drink. Wear bug spray at night.

Married to This Place

When my wife asked energetic Canadian John M.Draper the owner of Baci if the lovely lady chatting with him at the bar were his wife his reply was:"No, I'm married to this place." Meaning his Baci ristorante in Trutle Cove. And indeed, this owner, ball of energy truly does seem totally dedicated to pleasing customers and offering a good value on an island of expensive and overrated restaurants. His chefs make really delicious soups-- the black bean

and the lobster bisque were delicious and his italian fare though not the best I've ever had was certainly very tasty and the portions generous. He is one of the few restaurateurs on the island to offer decent house wines (a Beringer Cab for under $30.00). This is a good place for both lunch and dinner. Unpretentious and friendly. Keep an eye out for lefty and mother.

Overall very very good

Had a table overlooking the marina...hard to beat...very enthusiastic manager/owner...food could have been tastier...not necessarily spicier but definitely needed more seasoning...would definitely go again

Lovely evening

The soup was a delicious start for the somewhat cool and windy night. The veal and lobster were both tasty, though pasta sauce had a strong tomato paste taste. The chocolate dessert was heavenly. The staff is very accommodating and will mix and match anything on the menu.

Baci delivers a tasty kiss to visitors and locals alike

Baci is a wonderful, very authentic, Italian restaurant designed and decorated in a most charming Venetian style. Try the lovely pastas, and don't forget a potent Caicos coffee for dessert!

Great Italian Cooking

After eating lots of seafood, Baci Restaurant offered a welcome respite from typical island fare. Eat outside if you can, however, be forewarned that on Thursday nights the bar next door, Sharkbite, has karaoke which is quite loud.
