Fishbowl-size glassware is all part of the charm at this larger-than-life, safari-themed poolside restaurant at the quieter end of Grace Bay. For the price, the Caribbean-inspired dishes with fruity twists like grouper with curry and mango sauce, conch with coconut curry, or salmon with tropical fruit salsa, are above expectations. A plus: this is one of just a few places with indoor, air-conditioned seating, but you need a car to get here (unless staying at the Turks & Caicos Club).

We stayed at the Turks and Caicos club in January 2008 and ate at Simba's several times (one dinner, one lunch, and several breakfasts). Overall, the quality of the food was good, and the prices were more moderate. Though the setting isn't as picturesque as other beachfront restaurants on the island, dinner here was one of the better meals we had on Provo - certainly better than Anacaona, and more reasonably priced.

Dinner was delicious, service was amazing. Abbey and Tony really know how to make you feel like you are dining at home in comfy surroundings with wonderful service and delicious and attractively presented food. Great value for the money. Try the tomato tart or the Conch Cevice...worth the price of admission...YUM!
