Tiki Hut Review

From a location overlooking the marina, the ever-popular Tiki Hut serves consistently tasty, value-priced meals in a fun atmosphere. Locals take advantage of the Wednesday night chicken-and-rib special, and the lively bar is a good place to sample local Turks Head brew. There's a special family-style menu (the best kids' menu in Provo) and kids' seating. Don't miss pizzas made with the signature white sauce, or the jerk wings, coated in a secret barbecue sauce and then grilled—they're out of this world. The restaurant can be busy, with long waits for a table, and you can reserve only with five people or more.

    Tiki Hut Review

    On 16th June 2010 we sampled Tiki Hut, the location is pleasant, the ambiance good, and the appearance neat and well kept beside a large clean marina. We were directed to a table where an allergy of one of the party was explained - after ordering we were astounded when the woman who purported to be "in charge" came into the dining area loudly proclaiming to her co-workers and all guests within hearing "She'd never heard of such an allergy" to the great embarassment of all concerned - Apologies were required from the white bloused woman who gave them in apparently insincere fashion as within five minutes two more instances causing reactions had been created by staff under her charge causing what may otherwise have been a pleasant meal and potentially favourable review to be abandoned soon after the ordered meals had been delivered.
