Owner Porter Williams and his wife, Haidee, have been traveling back and forth to Salt Cay for more than 20 years. Their love of the island resulted in the creation of Porter’s more than 15 years ago. The bistro, a block from the dock and overlooking the salina, has evolved over the years; today, it features sophisticated local and international cuisine, blending an Asian influence with local and international ingredients. Breakfast is amazing—eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, and breakfast burritos. On the lunch and dinner menus, you'll find a variety of seafood and meat selections. There are also activity nights—Texas Hold’em, karaoke, or Nintendo Wii bowling—and a nightly selection of tapas during happy hour, including Wednesday Wing Night, Friday-night pizza, or the amazing Lobster Mania on Thursday (in season). There's also a small shop (with gifts and tourist information. Reservations are essential and must be made by 3 pm for dinner.
