Turks and Caicos Islands Places

Providenciales

Top Reasons to Go

Grace Bay Beach. The beach is the Turks and Caicos' biggest draw. The soft, powder-white sand with crystal-clear seas seems to go on for as far as the eye can see. Be warned: you will fall in love with this beach and want to come back and retire here.

Snorkel, Scuba, and Snuba. The world's third-largest reef system here makes for an underwater dream. Beginners and experts alike can snorkel right off the beach at Coral Gardens and Smith's Reef. The visibility is ideal, usually more than 100 feet. If you aren't a certified diver, Snuba is a choice for you; the tanks stay on the surface while you explore below.

Fine Dining. On quiet islands like Provo, dining is your nightlife. And while the food is incredible across the island, what really stand out are the settings. Anocoana has what may be the best ambience in the entire Caribbean.

Water Sports. Turks and Caicos are all about the water, and not always what's below the surface. On Grace Bay you can parasail, ride a banana boat, sail a Hobie Cat, ride a kayak, or learn to windsurf. Long Bay Beach is the place to go kite surfing. Leeward Marina and the cays are great skiing and tubing areas.

The Perfect Night Out. At sunset, have a drink at Grace Bay Beach; end the night watching Daniel and Nadine sing at Da Conch Shack, O'Soleil, or Tiki Hut (depending on the night).
