SURFside Ocean Academy. SURFside is the only scuba outfit in TCI to offer mobile scuba services and will bring the lesson to you! Why leave your private villa when you can have the adventure brought to your pool and oceanfront? SURFside also offers PADI's Discover Scuba Diver Program, their most popular scuba course, for individuals who are not yet certified but would like to try scuba diving, for ages 10 and up. In addition to scuba, the company provides custom charter cruises for smaller groups (maximum of eight passengers) on a private 20-foot Edgewater. The boat includes a tow arch for wakeboarders and water-skiers and stops for a custom barbecue lunch at the more remote and uninhabited islands like French Cay and West Caicos. You can also spend the day on the beach with provided chairs, umbrellas, and even coolers. SURFside is also well known for their stand-up paddleboard (SUP) experiences, and offers a variety of classes and tours, as well as an hour-long PaddleFit Fitness boot camp–style class and SUP "yoga on the water."
