Providenciales
Golf
Golfing in the Caribbean can be quite an experience. The Provo Golf Club in Provo has one of the finest layouts in the islands. Along with its smallish greens, the course is very well manicured. If you forget your clubs, don't worry; you can rent a set that will accommodate your game. After a challenging round be sure to grab a drink or quick bite in the clubhouse that overlooks the 18th green. Usually flamingos are spotted at the 5th green. Bring your "A" game, as this is truly a shot-maker's course.
Provo Golf and Country Club. The par-72, 18-hole championship course at Provo Golf and Country Club is a combination of lush greens and fairways, rugged limestone outcroppings, and freshwater lakes, and is ranked among the Caribbean's top courses. Fees are $160 for 18 holes with shared cart. Premium golf clubs are available. Governor's Rd., Grace Bay, Providenciales. 649/946-5991. www.provogolfclub.com.
FunWorld. Turks & Caicos Miniature Golf is open every day and all kinds of activities to keep families happy. There are cart grand Prix races, rockwall and a small arcade for all day fun. Long Bay Rd., Leeward, Providenciales. 649/231-4653.
