Fodor's Review

Divers are all drawn to this basic yet comfortable hotel. With its on-site dive shop, there's no wait for some of the best diving in the world. Rooms are clean and simple, and it's a short walk to Front Street's other restaurants. The resort's restaurant is the best on the island. You can relax with yoga sessions or party with the locals at the Sunday sail and kayak races or Thursday night's "pit party," with roasted meats and music. The Ike and Donkey Beach Bar adds to the fun.

Bohio Dive Resort & Spa Review

We went to Grand Turk the first week of December, 2009. We've been to the TCI several times and were looking for a pure rest and relaxation vacation away from the crowds and relative hustle of Grace Bay. Although it took 26 hours of travel to get there, Bohio made every second worth the trip! The proprietors. Kely Shanahan and Gerhardt are wonderful hosts and made us feel like old friends. The food prepared with outstanding taste by Chef Ulrike was

incredible (note, it helps if you love seafood and especially lobster!). The rooms are comfortable, clean and air conditioned although certainly not luxurious. Apart from the ambience and the food, the best part of Bohio is the exquisite talcum powder beach and aquamarine waters. If you want luxuey and/or "action" keep looking. But if you want a small, boutique resort with the atmosphere of close friends and great food, all ata great price, this may well be the place for you. As for us, as long as we have stressful jobs, we wil do our best to become regulars at Bohio.

Off the Beaten Path

If you are the type of person like myself who appreciates places off the beaten path but still with some nice amenities, then Grand Turk and Bohio are for you. Mike and his staff went out of their way to make my trip a memorable one. Great diving close to shore, small hotel but still with wireless Internet in the lobby area and nice food, nice beach. Grand Turk itself is charming and removed from the built up tourist experience of Provo. This would

also be a fun place for a dive group to stay.
