Weddings in Trinidad and Tobago

Getting married in Trinidad and Tobago is still not as easy as on some other islands, but idyllic Tobago is still fairly popular as a wedding spot. Both parties must prove that they have been in the country for three days (calculated from the day after arrival). A passport, airline ticket, and proof of divorce (if you've been married before) are all required, as is a $55 license fee. Further information can be obtained from the Registrar General's office. The Coco Reef Resort in Tobago specializes in beach weddings.
