Perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean, this villa complex sets the standard for luxury self-catering accommodations on Tobago. There are 14 French colonial-style villas in the complex, spaced well enough to allow for maximum privacy. Each 3,700-square-foot, three-bedroom villa has an infinity pool and spectacular views. Individually owned units are all different. A 200-acre bird sanctuary is next door for those who might want a little nature jaunt. Housekeeping is provided, and cooks are available for those who don't wish to make use of the impressive kitchens. The only minor disadvantage here is that the beach is a trek down the hill. Villas are priced for four or six people sharing. Pros: as luxurious as Tobago gets; beautiful ocean views from every villa; an infinity pool all to yourself. Cons: restaurant food is barely edible; not on the beach.
