This small boutique hotel is bursting at the seams with charm. Just a short drive from downtown in the quiet suburb of Cascade, the hotel offers peace, quiet, and style at a relatively affordable price. Each room is done in a different whimsical theme; the Rumshop Room, for example, comes complete with full bottles of rum and playing cards on the coffee table. Amazingly, for the price, all rooms offer a complimentary, fully stocked minibar. The one so-called "suite" on offer is really just a very large room. Pros: rooms have genuine charm; small but attentive staff; common areas are relaxing and great for catching up on reading. Cons: restaurant has wildly unreliable food quality; small compound can feel cramped.
