Fodor's Review:

On Trinidad's western peninsula, this hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown but smack in the middle of the island's most popular nightlife area. The hotel complex caters to the yachting crowd with a huge marina and a wide range of shops. The Lighthouse Restaurant is popular with locals and has a large and lively bar. Rooms are well appointed, with views of the marina and pool. The nearest beach is a 10-minute drive but isn't particularly good. Pros: great view of marina; airy rooms are tastefully decorated; great for yachting enthusiasts. Cons: far from Port of Spain; very limited shopping and dining nearby.
