Kariwak Village

Store Bay Rd., , Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago

Owner Cynthia Clovis personally oversees this intimate, tranquil oasis that draws guests who return year after year. At this holistic retreat, even the cabanas have been designed with pitched roofs to help "maximize your energy potential." Souls who wish to atone for an excess of rum punches the night before can do some yoga the next morning. The bar and restaurant are in a bamboo pavilion and welcome local entertainers on weekends. Choose a garden room for a more peaceful stay; those near the pool can be noisy. The complex is near the airport, Store Bay, and Pigeon Point but is not on the beach.
