Getting to Trinidad & Tobago: You can fly nonstop to Trinidad from several U.S. cities, but not directly to Tobago. Most people hop over to Tobago on a small plane from Trinidad. Trinidad's Piarco International Airport (POS), about 30 minutes east of Port of Spain (take Golden Grove Road north to Arouca and then follow Eastern Main Road west for about 10 mi to Port of Spain), is a thoroughly modern facility complete with 16 air bridges. Tobago's small Crown Point Airport (TAB) is the gateway to the island.

Hassle Factor: Medium to High.

Nonstops: Nonstops to Trinidad from Atlanta (Delta), Ft. Lauderdale (Spirit), Houston (Continental), Miami (American, Caribbean Airlines), New York-JFK (American, Caribbean Airlines, Delta), New York-Newark (Continental). None to Tobago.
