Fodor's Review:

Despite the rather odd name, this restaurant at the Toucan Inn is atmospheric and excellent. Designed by expat British co-owner Chris James, the architecture is a blend of Kenyan and Caribbean styles, executed entirely in local teak and open on all sides. The menu is huge; Chris claims it pains him to remove any items, so he just keeps adding more. You can savor your lobster Rockefeller while enjoying the nightly entertainment. Open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, this is the busiest eatery on the island.

good food

This is a nice palce to dine with nice staff/manger. We had a drink here serveral times as it had an atmosphere more like a British pub then most bars out there but we only ate here once. However, by local standards it was very good solid food - but not haught cusine. In fact it is one of the best places for "fancy food" on Tobago but in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. So ratings - to be fair - are based on Tobago standards.
