Frenchman Gerard Mouille has managed to create an authentic French brasserie in the heart of Port of Spain. Homemade bread is made daily, and the menu features many items that are imported straight from Brittany. Tribute is also paid to island ingredients, so you can start your meal with local escargots and end it with delicious mango ice cream. Add a selection of hundreds of wines and you have a memorable dining option. The crêpe special on Saturday from 10 to 3 draws an appreciative crowd.

a la Bastille offers the best dining in Port of Spain. Dollar for dollar, the food is superior, the service and selection outstanding.
The owner and staff bring a little bit of the French cuisine together with warm french hospitality to this little island(s) nation.
