Unpretentious and welcoming, rooms in this delightful little inn on Soufrière Harbour are in small seaside cabins -- most of which have views of the Pitons. Rooms are simply furnished -- a primitive motif emphasized by African wood sculptures. Four rooms have mahogany four-poster beds hung with sheer mosquito netting. Most rooms have modern baths; two rooms and a suite share a bath. The two-bedroom country cottage -- with a sitting room, kitchenette, and spectacular Piton view -- is suitable for a family or two couples vacationing together. The Hummingbird's Lifeline Restaurant is a favorite lunch stop for locals and visitors touring Soufrière.
