Mountain biking is growing in popularity, with several peaks soaring more than 800 feet. You'll wind through cane fields, rain forest, abandoned plantation ruins, and local villages. Free taxi transfers from Frigate Bay and Basseterre and a complimentary drink at the historic Lodge Estate Great House headquarters (which also contains a bar-restaurant, tropical gardens with monkey sanctuary and butterfly walk, swimming pool, and occasional disco) are included in the $65 rate.

Nevis
