Wallilabou Craft Centre

Wallilabou Craft Centre Review

Established in 1986, this local cooperative teaches villagers various techniques for weaving straw and other natural fibers. Workers create baskets, handbags, hats, toys, and other items that are sold in the Kingstown market; they make good souvenirs of a visit to St. Vincent. The workshop is on the leeward coast, about a half-hour's drive north of Kingstown.
