St. Martin and St. Maarten Sights

Guana Bay Review

If you're looking for seclusion, you'll find it here. There are no umbrellas and no lounge chairs; even the beach shack has no regular service. What this bay does have is a long expanse of soft sand. The surf is strong, making this beach a popular surfer hangout, but it's definitely not recommended for kids because of the rough surf. It's five minutes northeast of Philipsburg. Turn on Guana Bay Road, which is behind Great Bay Salt Pond. Amenities: none. Best for: surfing; solitude; walking.
