Fodor's Review

The romantic beachfront units of this hotel de charme are steps from the fun of Orient Beach yet private, quiet, and stylish. Immaculate spacious rooms are dramatically decorated in spice colors and accessories that suggest Morocco; all have big balconies with loungers. There is a pretty pool in the manicured garden where breakfast is served, and each unit has a fridge and microwave so you can keep and warm up snacks. Guests get signing privileges at all the beach

bars; spots at chic Waïkiki Beach Club are reserved for guests of this hotel. The upper-floor units have water views, but the lower level offers immediate access to the pool and garden.

Palm Court Review

The pictures may look nice, but you must be made aware that this hotel is not in a good area. The office is only open for a few hours each day and this establishment has no safety or security. There is an iron fence with a keypad gate and also has razor wire strung out which does make you wonder who they are trying to keep out and why. The rooms are furnished in a bizarre color scheme which looks very Bohemian and the small vent window in the toilet

room is screwed shut. The plumbing has problems and we also were bitten by ants the first night we were there. The staff flunked "Hotel Management 101" and are very arrogant when they are there. Now comes the really bad part....our room was broken into and we were robbed on the 4th night of our vacation' the following day Kathy and I were going to celebrate our 38th anniversary for which the trip was centered around. Stolen from us was a Mac laptop,Ipad ,Ipod ,Ipod speaker doc, voltage adapters and a German made stainless steel switch blade knife. This was over $4000.00 of electronics that was stolen by what I call gypsy sneak thieves who entered the room through the small 11x22 inch vent window in the toilet room. We contacted the Gendarmes who arrived quickly and investigated the crime scene and took finger prints. The so called "management" at the hotel did not offer a sincere apology and we asked if their insurance would cover our loss they gave us a vague answer and told us that we would have to provide receipts and serial numbers which we did.Now you know the reason for razor wire and toilet windows screwed shut after our robbery. This hotel should be avoided at all costs,we only got $398.00 for the damaged window and were only comped for the night of the robbery. Do you want to stay at this joke of a hotel?
